Greetings, Hros! 

We're thrilled to unveil our second limited-edition hybrid collection of the year, available for purchase at New York Comic Con from October 12 through October 15. And that means it's officially "selfie" time because these designs will allow you to see your favorite DC characters striking a pose as they commemorate their heroic (or villainous) adventures-- no filters necessary! 

Also, just like with our previous limited-edition hybrid collection, there will be some epic Rewards for the Hros who complete the full set and/or sit atop the community leaderboard at the time of our snapshot on January 9, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. ET. 

If you're in the Tri-State area, be sure to stop by the Hro booth at NYCC (#1157) to pick up a box of your own and meet the Hro team! 

And, for those of you who can't be there in person, we have a special surprise for you: a limited quantity of these packs are available NOW on shop.hro.gg for pre-order!

Have you ever wondered what's in your favorite DC Super Hero or Super-Villain's camera roll? That's exactly the question that this hybrid drop is going to answer!

And the best part is that these entertaining designs aren't exclusively locked inside our boxes...in fact, two of them are front and center on the packaging itself! 

Plus, for some bonus fun, our box assortment is randomized, opening up an extra adventure for any Hros who want to display both The Joker and Harley Quinn boxes as a part of their physical collections (especially for those of you pre-ordering online who won't know which boxes you're getting until they arrive!).

As for the cards in the overall assortment, there are 19 designs that hail from DC's "The New 52" line of comic books and feature artwork from a fun series of variant covers that appear to be taken from a character's "selfie" POV.

While most of these cards will be in our traditional sizing, we're also excited to announce the return of the Mega Card, which clocks in at about 88 x 126 mm / 3.46 x 4.96 in and features an incredible shot of Lex Luthor alongside the Justice League. Plus, this Epic-tier design unlocks a bonus set of digital trading cards on top of the hybrid packs...but more on that later! 

For now, let's break down the rarity tiers and how many cards fall under each one: 

The competition snapshot for the DC "Selfie Moments" drop will take place on January 9, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. ET, which will determine who's eligible to receive our brand-new Rewards Cards featuring original artwork designed just for the Hro community. 

COMPLETION REWARD

For anyone able to collect all 19 cards in the set, they'll receive a special completion Rewards Card. And while the rarity tier of this design is a mystery for now (because it will be based on the total number of completed sets at the time of the snapshot), we can tell you who's starring in it: The Joker! As always with hybrid collections, mint numbers for completions will be assigned based on leaderboard position. 

LEADERBOARD REWARDS 

In addition to the completion Rewards Card, we'll also be offering up leaderboard Rewards Cards to the collectors who say "cheese" and secure themselves a spot in the top 150 or 300 for this hybrid drop. 

- For the top 150 Hros, Starfire (Koriand’r of Tamaran) will be the lead of your Hro-tier card and, for the top 300 Hros, Booster Gold (Michael Carter) will be the star of your Mythic-tier design. Oh, and yes--that of course means that the top 150 will receive BOTH cards as a reward for their "selfie" supremacy! 

And last but not least: here are all of the details about that bonus digital pack that our Mega Card unlocks! After scanning in the QR code from the back of the Mega Card in your DC “Selfie Moments” hybrid pack, you’ll receive two digital cards from the DC “Selfie Moments”: Crafting collection, PLUS 5,000 Hro Points!

 The DC “Selfie Moments”: Crafting digital trading card set consists of five black and white “ink” editions of the same five Common-tier cards from the main DC “Selfie Moments” hybrid collection—here’s a breakdown of the digital pack rarity tiers and how many cards fall under each one:

But that’s not all! Beginning December 19 at 10:00 AM PST you’ll be able to craft from your cards in the DC “Selfie Moments”: Crafting – Bonus Digital Pack. Collect all five cards from the bonus digital pack plus 14,653 Hro points for a chance to combine them together and craft a special, full-color animated design starring The Flash and Superman. There is a limit of one per account.

In addition to this, a Mythic leaderboard Rewards Card featuring Superman and Batman will be airdropped to the top 300 Hros on the bonus digital pack collection leaderboard after the DC “Selfie Moments” snapshot on January 9, 2024.

And, as a reminder, the Hybrid End of Season 1 Hybrid Reward Cards allow holders to receive a limited number of FREE DC “Selfie Moments” hybrid packs! There will be a snapshot of all End of Season 1 Reward Card holders on October 11 at 10:00 a.m. PDT to determine eligibility. Then, based upon that snapshot, address collection will begin the week of October 16, with planned shipment of the DC “Selfie Moments” hybrid packs to start going out by the end of the month.
