It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for. We are thrilled to unveil our highly anticipated Chapter 4 hybrid trading cards collection, and it’s available for you to pre-order on Wednesday, October 11 at 12:00 p.m. ET via the Hro Shop.

The on-sale date is October 20, which is when you will be able to find this collection in local stores. Chapter 4 will bring us 156 new hybrid trading card designs, including the first-ever Hro-tier hybrid item!

But that’s not all; we also have Mythical Packs up for grabs…more on that later.

And of course there will be a special Rewards Set to keep this Multiverse adventure going after the initial drop! Those who complete the entire Chapter 4 set, as well as Hros atop the community leaderboards at the time of our snapshot on February 15, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. PT, will be eligible to receive some incredible Rewards Cards featuring brand-new, original artwork that we can’t wait to tell you all about. 

But first things first! Let’s jump right into the rarest card in the collection…

Hold on to your capes…Hro’s rarest card yet for any hybrid collection is in our midst! We've added one Hro-tier design into the Chapter 4 hybrid collection…and there are only 150 mints of it in existence. In fact, this card is so rare that you don’t even need to own one in order to be eligible for our Chapter 4 Completion Rewards Card! The Hro-tier card’s leaderboard score will not contribute to the Chapter 4 Leaderboard, but it will count for the End of Season 2023 and All Season Rewards Leaderboard Competitions.

So, get ready to suit up and see if you can uncover this ultra-rare, holographic design that showcases a stunning visual of Superman in honor of his 85th anniversary this year. And be sure to tag us if you're one of the lucky Hros who finds it!

Now that we’ve covered our Hro-tier card, we should let you know about four special cards featuring brand-new, original artwork that you can only get if you purchase a Chapter 4 hybrid collection 4-pack or 8-pack. These Premium Cards also come with a holographic finish and spotlight different characters from the DC Multiverse. And, there will be a special leaderboard with a unique Rewards Card for these. But more on that later…

Now, let’s dive into how we built out the rest of the Chapter 4 hybrid collection. Below is the breakdown for the remaining 151 cards.

Just like we've done in our first three hybrid chapters, we'll also be celebrating a movie release in addition to our comics cards...and, this time around, we have a special selection of 30 limited-edition designs dedicated to Warner Bros. and DC's The Flash, which is available to own/rent on Digital now! Here's a look at what you can expect from this assortment:

Last but not least is the biggest group of cards: our main "Multiverse" assortment that spans several different rarity tiers and collection categories, which we'll dig into here:

And, speaking of Mythics, surprise! 

We've randomly distributed a very small amount of "mythical" hybrid trading card packs that contain rare designs and rare designs only. That's right--if you're one of the lucky Hros who finds one, you'll snag four Mythic-tier cards from Chapter 4 and three holographic Legendary-tier cards from the Chapter 4 Multiverse assortment. 

It just might be the most epic pull of your trading story...especially if you happen to uncover an ultra-rare "mythical" pack that replaces one of the Legendary-tier cards with the Hro-tier design instead. Happy hunting!

And don't forget that Hro is the rewarding way to collect! 

On February 15, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. PT, we'll take a snapshot that'll determine the recipients of our Chapter 4 Rewards Set. These Rewards will include 10 brand-new, original designs created just for our Hro community, and the best part is that YOU get to decide which DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains will be the stars! 

Based on the votes of our Hro Pioneers, nine characters will be chosen as the leads in their own individual cards...and those nine designs will ultimately have the ability to fuse together into one whole, composite image. And yes--that composite image will be our 10th Rewards Card, but it'll of course be jumbo-sized to fit all of that action and it'll even don an alternate color treatment to make it extra special.

Since our Chapter 4 hybrid trading cards collection features limited-edition movie cards from Warner Bros. and DC’s The Flash film, we decided to “run” with this theme for inspiration when compiling the list of DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains who could potentially become the stars of our new Rewards Set artwork. Without further ado, here are the characters in play from The Flash's Core comic book universe!

Pioneer Card holders will receive an email on October 19, 2023 about how to cast their votes for our hybrid Chapter 4 Rewards Set.

This voting opportunity will be live from October 19 - October 23, during which time our Pioneers will narrow down the list above from 16 characters to nine…when everything is said and done, those DC Super Heroes and/or Super-Villains who remain will then take the stage as the faces of our all-new Rewards Set featuring brand-new, original artwork.

Each of those nine characters will star in their own Rewards Cards, and then the full composite image of the group will act as our 10th "jumbo" design as an extra-special offering for the Hros at the very top of our Chapter 4 leaderboard.

So, what's it going to take to get your hands on these winning designs? We've got all the details for you below!

Beyond the singular composite image, there will also be nine individual designs based on the characters selected in the Hro Pioneer voting process. And below is an overview of where you need to be on the Chapter 4 hybrid collection global leaderboard in order to snag the various rarity tiers up for grabs! 

And for the last three Rewards Card offerings? The rarity tiers for these cards will be determined based on the final count of eligible completed sets at the time of our snapshot, with eligibility based on the following completion achievements:

But the Rewards don't even end there, Hros! Remember how we

 mentioned earlier that our special Premium Cards for Chapter 4 would be accompanied by their own leaderboard opportunity specific to that assortment? That's because the top 250 collectors on our hybrid Premium Cards leaderboard will receive their very own Mythic-tier Rewards Card, which features new and original artwork starring the Super-Villain General Zod.

The top 100 collectors on the Chapter 4 hybrid collection global leaderboard will also receive some highly sought-after uncut trading cards sheets based on the following breakdown:

Lastly, as a reminder, the End of Season 1 Hybrid Rewards Cards allow holders to receive a limited number of FREE Chapter 4 hybrid collection packs! There will be a snapshot of all End of Season 1 Hybrid Rewards Card holders today, October 11, at 10:00 a.m. PDT to determine eligibility. Then, based on that snapshot, address collection will begin the week of October 16, with planned shipment of the Chapter 4 hybrid collection packs to start going out by the end of the month.
